Tulsa takes a golden shower from the Huskies....
Washington 38, Tulsa 10
First play from scrimmage for me. Stokes knocks out my star qb Keith Price for the whole game. Second play my backup throws a pick. Bad start to say the least but I weathered the storm to hold him to 3 and then outscored him 38-7 to finish the game.
Offense: Wanted to run....22 attempts for 40 yards. Like many scouting reports before hand, he isn't great at passing downs and distances. Ran a bunch of vertical routes when desparate. Receivers dropped plenty of balls. I'm guessing he never adjusted the slider cause it bit him hard later on in the game.
Defense: Didn't blitz as much his usual "pressure busts pipes" self. Maybe cause his dbs sucks. Too many times Stokes would get me in these third and long (15 yards+) and I would convert. One conversion I had was like 3rd and 25! Overall I was 9/12 on third down so the clutch stokes may be a thing of the past.
St: I converted a fake punt him. It was a crucial play too. If I missed, Stokes would have the momentum and ball at midfield only down 21-10 late in the third. When the tebow (punt protector) got the ball, he ran into the back of an offensive player and I thought the play was toast. He recovered however and coverted the fourth and four. On the that drive, I went on to score the back breaking 28-10 td score.
Overall: I think I get a bad perception in here for not being a defensive whiz. I think that is inaccurate to say the least. I probably lead the dynasty in turnovers. I just held the heisman leading rb to 25 yards on 8 carries. This is probably my biggest win against stokes ever. If stokes says that he gave me this, he is bsing you.
