I just posted this on the other board but I wanted to say it to both dynasties I'm in so here it is over here as well
I'm super excited on a personal level because I'm finally getting to pursue and finish my education. I actually had a job where I was making more money than the average person in my area but my job was very unstable. It would be nothing for someone to come in and say we have to lay you off at the drop of a dime. Also my little sister just recently graduated from Alabama and I was helping her and my mom out.
I had saved up enough and had plans to go last year but I was diagnosed with cancer on my kidney. I already only have one so there was a big scare for me as to ending up on dialysis or even death. It was an experience I really can't explain in words. But I was blessed and everything turned out ok even after initial complications. I had to spend all of my savings though.
Pretty much I busted my ass off this past year working caught some breaks and now I'm moving from Alabama to Tennessee to finish. I literally worked most of this year doing 12 hours 7 days a week.
Now I'm hoping with more free time I can get a little better and even a greater hope of regaining my form. Right now I'm still a little busy going back and forth getting everything situated and my girl is moving to LA in a day or two but in about a week everything should be set! I also may have a delay with internet access as far as getting in turned on and waiting for someone to come and install it.
