The NC has taught us all that you really should play top tier competition during the season, to be considered the best in the nation.

Yeah, that game was embarassing. I stopped watching after 28-0. But I agree, if you don't beat anyone of worth during the season, then you have no right representing as one of the Nation's top teams. Just another reason why D1 needs a playoff system.

They beat Oklahoma and Stanford though. I knew Alabama was going to kill Notre dame but nobody plays more than 3 tough games on their schedule. I'm an sec guy but it was over rated this year I think.

Ok after looking at the Stanford and Oklahoma schedules, Im starting to believe that ND didnt play that much of serious talent this year. OU kinda had a meh schedule I think. OU lossed to KSU and ND. But the games where OU beat top teams it was a straight shootout. Like WVU (start your rants Ed ), I think WVU should have won that game. And they struggled in all matches with legit teams (WVU, OKSU), hard. Stanford...... ok lets be honest the new PAC 12 is not strong. Only 2 teams from the PAC 12 finished in the final top 25, those are their heavy hitters (Oregon and Stanford). 2 weeks before the game with ND, Stanford started slipping. Loss to Washington 17-13, Won in OT against Arizona and loss to ND in OT. So to me, ND played 1.5 really legit teams in their schedule before facing bama. But all in all, I got one thing to say bout all this..... fuck bama..... cheated me out my very first victory in this year's game. Inbreeded forrest gump motherfuckers.....

You just have to look at a team imo. I can see that Stanford can play ball. I didn't get to watch Oklahoma. As far as only beat this team by this and that. I know when we won the championship we had a close game against Kentucky and Clemson. In 2009 bama had close games against Tenn and we have the game away that year and we were mediocre. One of those years usc was winning they had close games to cal and Fresno st. Bama had a little struggle with ole miss this year. That stuff happens. But you a fsu fan right? If y'all had won and played in the title game who would you say y'all played?

Just UF and Clemson. Assuming they all had the same records IRL except the loss they would need for us to be unbeaten. I would have loved to add WVU but they renigged on us. FSU horrible scheduling has been in place since Bowden started. 2 cupcakes to boost W-L and player confidence, and to give younger players PT. And then the usual conference games with a random decent to good team and then them damn crocs..

I feel FSU relies too much on ACC opponents being good so they can look good or better

me too brother. we're sorry as fuck and I don't even see how we're going to get better. coaches was so piss poor we wasted alotof talent. I wanted us to go after Charlie dstrong but the ad is killing our program. Bama's d coord wanted the job but our ad wanted to tell him who and who not to hire..... I'm so sad, our football team hasn't ever been this sorry since I've been alive
